Communication Networks II – ULI Information

Q) Where do ULI students register for participating in Communication Networks II (KN 2)?

A) Students should register via email sent to reuter(at)elc.tu-darmstadt.de. On registration, the students will be provided with an account enabling them to access the learning platform.

Q) What is the maximum number of ULI students for the course?

A) The maximum number of participants is limited to 20.
Preference will be given on a first come first served basis.

Q) Will the examination be written or an oral examination?

A) In case there is a substantial number of ULI students, they will be required to take the written examination along with regular students at TUD. No request for a special date for the written examination can be entertained. Due to organizational purposes it is only possible to write the examination in Darmstadt, at the TUD. An oral examination is possible only if the number of ULI students is small. To get a date for an Oral examination the students (only ULI students) should contact Prof. Steinmetz's sekreteriat. Please note that a small number of ULI students does not guarantee the possibility of an oral examination.

Q) What is the required material, reference books for the course?

A) All such information will be provided on the learning platfrom of the TUD (https://moodle.tu-darmstadt.de/https://clix.tu-darmstadt.de/). On registration, the students will be provided with an account enabling them to access the learning platform.

Q) How are appointments for an oral examination arranged?

A) Students should request for an appoint for an oral examination where needed. All requests should be sent to Marion.Ehlhardt (at) KOM.tu-darmstadt.de . The appointment will be finalized by KOM, TUD. Due to our busy schedule it may not always possible to entertain the requests of the students. Requests for examinations on weekends and holidays or after working hours cannot be entertained.

Q) Where do I find information about schedule, registration for examination etc.?

A) All information will be available at the learning platform. Please note that it is the students responsibility to take notice of deadlines for registration and examination dates.
