Short Bio

Julian studied computer science at TU Darmstadt. Since late 2018, he is working as a research assistant at KOM in the "Adaptive Communication Systems" group. He finished his PhD with the topic "Aerial Network Assistance Systems for Post-Disaster Scenarios" in the end of 2022. His current research interest is centered around resilient infrastructure-independent communication networks and robust communication techniques like LoRa.

  • Infrastructure-independent Communication Networks
  • Aerial Communication Support, UAS-based Network Monitoring
  • Event-based simulations of networks
  • LoRa for LPWAN & IoT Communication
