Common Enterprise Application Infrastructures require high level management such as IT governance, so do large heterogeneous IT systems. Small components of these systems implicitly contribute towards system complexity. Along with the large number of new software artefacts, new challenges emerge etc. in the areas of enterprise organisation, roles and responsibilities, service lifecycles, standards, finance and the like. In order to be effective, the central challenge is to guarantee compliance to legal, technical and internal regulations. In order to provide homogenisation of these issues, new governance approaches and corresponding applications have to be deployed.
This track deals with the application and support of Governance in Large Heterogeneous IT Systems - hence, possible topics of the track include, but are not limited to:
