Introduction

Welcome to the website of the lab-excercise Communication Systems Lab III: Advanced Topics in Distributed Systems. The lab is primarily designed for students of computer science. However, students of electrical engineering/information technology or other disciplines are invited to join as well, if they are equipped with good programming skills. See description for more information. Participation of the lecture part of Advanced Topics in Distributed Systems is helpful but not necessary.

Announcements

There are two different tracks of lab exercises within Advanced Topics in Distributed Systems. One track is in cooperation with different European Universities, whereas the second track is only national. Both tracks offer different projects.

  • International track: The projects of the international track will take place from March, 19th to May, 7th. A preliminary discussion of the projects in the international track will take place on February, 16th at 14:00 o'clock. Students have to register until March, 12th for participation in the international track.
  • National track: The projects of the national track will take place from April 16th to July 20th. A preliminary discussion of the projects in the national track will take place on April, 18th at 14:00 o'clock.

Registration

Registration is only necessary for the international part. The number of participants for the international part is limited to 12.
