Projects

HMWK-funded "Serious Games an der Hochschule" (2009-2011). Conception of  the Serious Game mechanics. Development of the Serious Game and incorporation of the learning content. Technical inclusion of the Mocap-videos into the game.

ISPRAT-funded "Bürgerbeteiligung 2.0 - Serious Games und Social Media als IT-gestützte Anreizsysteme für die 'Piraten'-generation am beispiel Konversionsflächen der Stadt Darmstadt" (2012-2014). Concept of a platform for e-Participation for younger people for inclusion into recreating various pieces of land in and around the city of Darmstadt. Web-based realization of a framework for user- and project- administration using a mySQL database. Realization of the game-based 3D tool for a digital creation of own solutions. User-centered evaluation of the platform.

I co-developed and supervised various thesis and practical courses around the Serious Games prototypes "Woodment" and "Escape From Wilson Island". Those prototypes are being developed since 2010 and are constantly being enhanced.

'Woodment' has been evaluated in several vocational school classes association with AVM Rüsselsheim. Currently, a regular use within the curriculum is being prepared.

"Escape From Wilson Island" has been applied and evaluated at bfi Wien and TU Darmstadt.
