2nd Workshop on Future Directions in Multimedia Communications – Home

The Second Workshop on Future Directions of Multimedia Communications (FuMuCom) will bring together researchers, developers and practitioners in the networking and distributed multimedia systems research area to present their results, and debate emerging research directions. The goal of the workshop is to promote community-wide discussion of ideas that will influence and foster continued research in the field. The workshop will provide a venue for researchers to present new ideas that have the potential to impact the community in the long term. In contrast to large international conferences in this area, this workshop will place emphasis on more depth discussions and project future directions. Each invited participant should present a paper describing such an idea.
